It’s Monday, April 1st. Here’s our list of recommended beer-related events in and around New York after work tonight:
- Mission Dolores (249 4th Ave., at Carroll St., Park Slope) celebrates their Third Anniversary tonight with a lineup of great beers like Barrier Craven Belgian Red, Mikkeller + Grassroots Wheat is the New Hops, and the new Captain Lawrence-Mission Dolores collaboration, The Prime Directive. The new beer taps at 7pm, there’s an open bar from 6-7pm, when they’ll also have free food from Fort Reno BBQ!
- Celebrate the release of this year’s Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout tonight from 6-9pm at Valhalla (815 9th Ave., at 54th St., Hell’s Kitchen). Get your first taste of this year’s release!
- It’s VSK (Very Special Keg) Monday at Blind Tiger Ale House (281 Bleecker St., at Jones St., Greenwich Village). At 5pm, they’ll tap a rare or unique keg of the bar’s choosing. This week, it’s the Bear Republic Black Racer, a limited-release Black IPA.
