The Beer Weekender: March 29-31

image

The weekend is here at last, and it couldn’t come at a better time. The weather looks pretty decent, so perhaps you’d like to spend the day drinking outside. On Saturday, after you’ve spent time outside, come inside for the the NYC Craft Beer Festival “Spring Seasonals Edition.” Manhattan’s Lexington Armory (68 Lexington Ave., at 25th St., Rose Hill) will be invaded by beers from dozens of American craft breweries on Saturday, along with artisanal foods for purchase, live music, seminars, and some access to special brews.

Tickets are still available if you’re the kind of person who waits till the very last minute. General Admission tickets ($55) are still available for Session 2 (from 7-9:30pm), and a handful of VIP ($75) - which allow you an extra hour of drinking - and Connoisseur Tickets ($125) - with access to the Connoisseur Lounge with rare beers and complimentary hors d’oeuvres - are still available for both sessions. And if you really wait until the last minute, you can always get them at the door for ten bucks more.

Here’s a full rundown of the weekend’s beer events. Happy drinking!
