It’s Wednesday, December 7th. Here’s our list of recommended beer-related events in and around New York after work tonight:
- Celebrate Holiday Beers all day and night at Blind Tiger Ale House (281 Bleecker St., at Jones St., West Village) today starting at 3pm. They’ll have a bevy of holiday seasonal beers on tap, including Anchor Christmas Ale, Mahr’s Christmas Bock, Mikkeller Santa’s Little Helper, and Lagunitas Sucks Holiday Ale.
- They’ll also celebrate holiday beers at The Double Windsor (210 Prospect Park West, at 16th St., Windsor Terrace) with “A Very Vinyl Christmas” tonight at 8pm. They’ll spin holiday records while pouring beers like Troegs Mad Elf, Evil Twin Soft Christmas, and De Ranke Pere Noel. Buy a beer, and you’ll get free Christmas cookies!
- Not to be outdone, David Copperfield’s (1394 York Ave., at 74th St., Upper East Side) is promising to pour 20 winter seasonal and holiday beers tonight at 7pm as well, with some on draft and some in bottles.
- Dive Bar (732 Amsterdam Ave., at 96th St., Upper West Side) holds a breast cancer benefit in honor of a friend of the Dive Bars, Dani Caynor, who recently lost her battle with the disease. Starting at 7pm, buy a Duvel and get a free Duvel Artist Glass… and meanwhile, a portion of the night’s profits will be donated to breast cancer research in her honor.
