On a chilly night at the Wild Colonial in Providence, I need something on draft to perk me up. Meet Brewshire Brewing Company’s Coffeehaus Porter. This little number has strong roasted coffee and dark chocolate hints, and the bitter mouth of the beer goes a long way to complement it. There’s not even a hint of sweetness and the alcohol is fleeting. It’s like drinking your coffee black.
