This little brewery is getting some big help in the form of a new location.
The news this year has gone to show that our local breweries are seeing huge success - success that’s forcing them to move their brewing operations. Sixpoint started brewing their flagship brews and canned beers in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania this spring, because their Red Hook facility just couldn’t keep up with demand. Brooklyn Brewery is in the midst of more than tripling their output in Williamsburg. Captain Lawrence announced a move to a larger facility in Elmsford that will take place early next year.
Now, another local brewery can be added to that list: Greenport Harbor on Long Island’s North Fork.
