It’s Thursday, April 5th. Here’s our list of recommended beer-related events in and around New York after work tonight:
- The Bruery visits Barcade (388 Union Ave., at Ainslie St., Williamsburg) tonight starting at 5pm. Enjoy some rare brews from Orange County, California like the Smoking Wood Rauchbier, Sour in the Rye wild ale, and the White Oak wheatwine.
- Jimmy’s No. 43 (43 E. 7th St., at 2nd Ave., East Village) continues their new Thursday tradition: the Thursday Tap. Each week at 5pm, they’ll tap a rare keg, and you’ll get to unleash a frenzy on it. This week, it’s the Sierra Nevada Beer Camp #67 Transporter, brewed at Beer Camp in Chico, California with our friend John Holl.
- Long Island newcomer Spider Bite comes to Breukelen Bier Merchants (182 Grand St., at Driggs Ave., Williamsburg) tonight at 7pm, with Boris the Spider Imperial Stout, First Bite Pale Ale, and more. Be among the first to drink ‘em in Brooklyn!
- Growler Station (26 W. 8th St., at MacDougal St., Greenwich Village) hosts a tasting of Breckenridge tonight from 6-9pm, serving up samples of their Imperial IPA, Vanilla Porter, and their seasonal Summer Bright wheat beer.
- Belgium’s St. Feuillien and its owner Dominique Friart visits Bier International (2099 Frederick Douglass Blvd., at 113th St., Harlem) tonight at 7pm, pouring both the Grand Cru and the Triple.
