It’s Wednesday, May 2nd. Here’s our list of recommended beer-related events in and around New York tonight:
- It’s “Cinco de Dos” at The Stag’s Head (252 E. 51st St., at 2nd Ave., Turtle Bay), as they host Rogue and a bunch of brews from Oregon starting at 6pm. Enjoy the Old Crustacean, Brutal IPA, Captain Sig’s Northwestern Ale, and a whole lot more on tap. Plus, they’ll serve up some free chicken tacos!
- It’s “Sippin’ on Saison” Night at The Double Windsor (210 Prospect Park West, at 16th St., Windsor Terrace). Starting at 7pm, they’ll be pouring six of their favorite saisons, including the Stillwater/Mikkeller Two Gypsies Our Side, Moinette Blonde, Hopfenstark Station 7, and more!
- Troegs pays a visit to Idle Hands Bar (25 Avenue B, at 2nd St., East Village) for their weekly $10 Bourbon and Beer Tasting Series. Enjoy beers like the Hopback Amber and the Troegnator Doppelbock! From 7-10pm, $10 gets you 2 full beers, a 3-beer tasting flight, a taste of whisky, and an order of tater tots!
- The “Meet Your Maker” Tasting Series continues at 61 Local (61 Bergen St., at Smith St., Carroll Gardens) this month with KelSo Beer, Brooklyn Cured, and Brooklyn Brine Co. offering local beer, and locally-cured meats and pickled veggies. The makers of these products will be on hand, too! The full tasting is $35.
- It’s Lagunitas Night at Top Hops Beer Shop (94 Orchard St., at Broome St., Lower East Side) tonight starting at 5pm. They’ll be tapping the Doppel Weizen, Pils, and A Little Sumpin’ Sumpin’. No, I’m not keeping a secret… that’s the name of the beer, dummy.
