The Beer Weekender: January 25-27

image

One month from right now, we will be in the midst of one very, very busy week of drinking. The official preview of New York City Beer Week was this week, and there are going to be literally hundreds of events across the city to celebrate. Beer dinners will be hosted and tap takeovers will abound. Of course, these aren’t ordinary beer events. “You have to do something extra,” Shmaltz’s Jeremy Cowan explained. Brewers will be coming in from across the country and around the world for the week. Events like the Opening Night Bash and Brewers’ Choice will treat the city’s beer drinkers to one-of-a-kind experiences. And there will be special beers brewed especially for New York City Beer Week.

Stay tuned, as more event announcements are coming soon. But this weekend is the perfect time to train. Here’s some events to check out through Sunday.
