It’s Monday, July 15th. Here’s our list of recommended beer-related events in and around New York after work tonight:
- Over The Eight (594 Union Ave., at Richardson St., Williamsburg) hosts Flying Dog tonight at 7pm. Enjoy $4 specials from the Maryland-based brewery plus 40-cent wings all night long! They’ll even have a special pin of Snake Dog for your enjoyment.
- Beer Table Pantry (Grand Central Terminal, Graybar Passage, Midtown) hosts a free guided tasting of beer from Brooklyn tonight from 5-7pm. Stop in on your way to the train and join the brewery’s Brian Duprey for a tasting of beers like their Sorachi Ace.
- Reschduled from Saturday, Malt & Mold (221 East Broadway, at Clinton St., Lower East Side) hosts a Victory tasting tonight from 5-8pm. Come sample some brews like the Ranch Double IPA, Braumeister Pils, and Golden Monkey and try some cheese pairings while you’re at it.
- It’s VSK (Very Special Keg) Monday at Blind Tiger Ale House (281 Bleecker St., at Jones St., Greenwich Village). At 5pm, they’ll tap a rare or unique keg of the bar’s choosing. This week, it’s the Evil Twin Justin Blabaer Blueberry Berliner Weisse. It’s just as crazy as you’d think it is.
