It’s Tuesday, August 20th. Here’s our list of recommended beer-related events in and around New York after work tonight:
- The Queens Kickshaw (40-17 Broadway, at 41st St., Astoria) hosts the first-ever Big Alice Beer Dinner tonight from 6-9:30pm. Enjoy four courses paired with four unique beers from this small Long Island City-based brewery, like a Biscuit Slider with Purple Potato Chips paired with the Purple Potato Tripel, and Green Papaya Salad paired with the Lemongrass Tumeric White Lager. Dinner is $60 (tax and tip extra), and you can book by sending an email to info@thequeenskickshaw.com to indicate your preferred time and number of guests.
- Radegast Hall & Biergarten (113 N. 3rd St., at Berry St., Williamsburg) hosts an “Intriguing Wheats” tasting of beers tonight at 7pm, including the Schneider Weisse Nelson Sauvin, Professor Fritz Briem Grodziskie, and Bayerischer Bahnhof Leipziger Gose. You can enjoy them in a flight or by the glass, and you’ll also get to partake in some live music from Bob Parins and His Pint-Sized Cocktail Orchestra.
- Coronado Brewing makes its Brooklyn debut tonight at 5pm at Spuyten Duyvil (350 Metropolitan Ave., at Havermeyer St., Williamsburg). They’ll have the Blue Bridge Coffee Stout, Idiot IPA, Orange Avenue Wit, and more on tap, and folks from the brewery will be on hand, too.
- Blue Mountain visits Rattle-N-Hum (14 E. 33rd St., at 5th Ave., Midtown) today starting at 4pm. Enjoy brews from Virginia like the Uber Pilsner, Mandolin Abbey Tripel, Steel Wheels ESB, and lots more all night long.
- Bierkraft (191 Fifth Ave., at President St., Park Slope) features Singlecut Beersmiths tonight at 7pm for their free Tuesday Tasting. Learn more about this Astoria-based outfit and taste five of their finest brews… get there early for a seat!
