Beer List revealed for NYC Beer Week Fundraiser

On Thursday, December 5th, the New York City Brewers Guild will host their fundraiser at Brooklyn Brewery (79 N. 11th St., at Wythe Ave., Williamsburg) in preparation for next year’s NYC Beer Week, which will be held February 21st to March 2nd. The December event will allow attendees access to unlimited tastings of nearly two dozen rare brews from the Guild’s members. The event is also a fundraiser for City Harvest. and those who bring a non-perishable food item will get a special Beer Week surprise!

The beer list has been finalized, and it includes quite a few standouts and rarities.

Toast from Coast to Coast this Thursday

Vanberg & DeWulf, the Cooperstown-based importers of Belgian beers like Hop Ruiter, Saison Dupont, and Castelain, holds their third annual national celebration of Belgian beer called the Coast to Coast Toast 3. Last year, the New York venues were delayed a bit due to Hurricane Sandy, but this year, it’s right on time!

So, this Thursday night starting a little after 5pm, at dozens of locations across the city, they’ll be celebrating the Coast to Coast Toast for the third time.  It’s a good way to get your hands on some great Belgian (and what they call “honorary Belgian”) beer this Tuesday, even at some bars better known for their American beer selection.

It’s a long list, but from The Bronx to Staten Island, there’s probably a bar in your neighborhood pouring some great Belgian beer on Tuesday night. Here’s the full list by borough:
