Great South Bay officially rolls out in NYC this week

image

To New York City beer drinkers, the beers from Long Island’s Great South Bay Brewery have always so close, yet so far away. While they were building out a brewhouse in Bay Shore, their distribution was limited to Long Island itself. Tickets discounted for Sunday session of NYC Craft Beer Festival Winter Harvest

It may have been overlooked, but there’s one big difference to this year’s NYC Craft Beer Festival Winter Harvest: a Sunday session is in the mix for the first time. The event, held at Manhattan’s Lexington Armory (68 Lexington Ave., at 25th St., Rose Hill), usually boasts two Saturday sessions, but now you can make it a Sunday Funday from 4-6:30pm (3-6:30pm for VIPs). Once they hit their goal, they’re throwing a party to celebrate next Tuesday night, November 19th at Passenger Bar (229 Roebling St., at S. 3rd St., Williamsburg). They’ll pour free Braven Black and Braven White samples, Sailor Jerry Rum, and offer up a ton of entertainment starting at 9:30pm that night.

Onto this weekend’s beer events, which include Jimmy’s No. 43’s Fourth (!) Annual Battle of the Belgians, Adobe Blues’ Brewery Appreciation Day, and a tribute to O.D.B. It’s all on our calendar
