Happy Hour: Everybody must get Stoned
It’s Wednesday, February 22nd. Here’s our list of recommended beer-related events in and around New York after work tonight:
- Stone is front and center at Blind Tiger Ale House (281 Bleecker St., at Jones St., West Village) today starting at 3pm. Enjoy a double dry-hopped version of Stone IPA, a 2008 vintage of the Old Guardian barleywine, a cask of Smoked Porter with chipotle peppers, the Bruery/Elysian/Stone collaboration La Citrueille Celeste de Citracado, and many more surprises.
- Krombacher pays a visit to Idle Hands Bar (25 Avenue B, at 2nd St., East Village) for their weekly $10 Bourbon and Beer Tasting Series. Celebrate one of Germany’s best-selling breweries! From 7-10pm, $10 gets you 2 full beers, a 3-beer tasting flight, a taste of whisky, and an order of tater tots!
- Downtown Bar & Grill (160 Court St., at Dean St., Cobble Hill) hosts Ommegang starting tonight at 7pm. Head over to enjoy the Abbey, Hennepin, and the delicious BPA.
