Happy Hour: Thirsty Thursday
It’s Thursday, February 9th. Here’s our list of recommended beer-related events in and around New York after work tonight:
- Barcade Jersey City (163 Newark Ave., at Erie St., Jersey City) hosts beer celebrity Sam Calagione and brews from Dogfish Head tonight starting at 5pm. The tap lineup includes the 120 Minute IPA, a 2007 vintage Fort, a 2009 vintage Burton Baton, the new Noble Rot, and a whole lot more.
- Meanwhile, in Brooklyn, Wandering Star takes over the taps at Barcade Brooklyn (388 Union Ave., at Ainslie St., Williamsburg) tonight starting at 5pm. They’ll pour Bash Bish Bock, Bert’s Disqualified Stout, Raindrop Pale Ale, and the New York debut of the Rude Man barleywine!
- It’s Two Brothers Night at Bierkraft (191 Fifth Ave., at President St., Park Slope). Starting at 7pm, drink theLong Haul Session Ale,Ebel Weisse,Domaine DuPage, and more great brews from the Illinois brewery.
- Sample some free Innis & Gunntonight at 7pm at One Stop Beer Shop (134 Kingsland Ave., at Beadel St., Greenpoint). They’ll pour free tasters of their Rum Cask Aged Scotch Ale all night long, and One Stop Beer Shop will roll out some of their new food menu, including a locally-made lamb sausage on ciabatta.
