Happy Hour: High-Flying Dog
It’s Wednesday, February 8th. Here’s our list of recommended beer-related events in and around New York after work tonight:
- The Brooklyn debut of Midnight Sun takes place tonight at Barcade (388 Union Ave., at Ainslie St., Williamsburg) starting at 5pm. Enjoy the Sockeye Red, Mammoth Extra Stout, Monk’s Mistress, and more - all for the first time in Brooklyn!
- Dive Bar (732 Amsterdam Ave., at 96th St., Upper West Side) hosts Flying Dog tonight starting at 7pm. Among the beers they’ll pour: the new Kujo Imperial Coffee Stout, Garde Dog Farmhouse Ale, and a barrel-aged version of the Gonzo Imperial Stout.
- George Keeley (485 Amsterdam Ave., at 83rd St., Upper West Side) hosts Speakeasy tonight starting at 6pm. They’ll pour the Big Daddy IPA, Double Daddy Imperial IPA, White Lightning Wheat Ale, and much more!
- Growler Station (26 W. 8th St., at MacDougal St., Greenwich Village) has a Krombacher tasting tonight from 6-9pm. Pop in to try samples of the Weisse, Dark, and Pils from the largest privately-owned brewery in Germany!
- Up in Peekskill, Birdsall House (970 Main St., at Division St., Peekskill) hosts “Belgium Comes to Peekskill,” with a bevy of beers from Duvel, Ommegang, Brasserie d’Chouffe, and Maredsous pouring starting at 6pm.
