It’s Thursday, January 26th. Here’s our list of recommended beer-related events in and around New York after work tonight:

  • Victory takes over the taps at Bierkraft (191 Fifth Ave., at President St., Park Slope) tonight starting at 7pm. They’ll pour eleven brews from Downingtown, Pa., including the Smokin Oats Porter, Headwaters Pale Ale, Storm King Stout, and a whole lot more deliciousness.
  • Kelso of Brooklyn pays a visit to Brouwerij Lane (78 Greenpoint Ave., at Franklin St., Greenpoint) tonight at 7pm. They’ll have standard offerings and some special goodies on tap, like a brandy barrel-aged Recessionator, Jack Daniel’s barrel-aged Nut Brown Lager, and a Maple barrel-aged Industrial IPA.
  • Up at City Swiggers (320 E. 86th St., at 2nd Ave., Upper East Side), they welcome Flying Dog from 6:30-9:30pm, pouring samples of the new Kujo Imperial Coffee Stout, Doggie Style Pale Ale, Raging Bitch Belgian IPA, and much more!
  • Visit New York’s newest beer shop as The Growler Station (26 W. 8th St., at MacDougal St., Greenwich Village) hosts their first tasting event tonight, featuring Widmer Brothers. Starting at 6pm, they’ll be pouring samples of the Pitch Black IPA and the Brothers’ Reserve Barleywine.
  • Ithaca Beer will be pouring at Dive 75 (101 W. 75th St., at Columbus Ave., Upper West Side) tonight at 7pm. Enjoy some of their classic brews and perhaps some rarities from their Excelsior! Series.
  • Speakeasy takes the taps at The Gate (321 5th Ave., at 3rd St., Park Slope) tonight at 7pm. Enjoy a stellar lineup of San Franciscan beers, distributed only in California and New York!
  • Our friend Pat Fondiller pours brews from Smuttynose tonight at Mary’s Bar (708 5th Ave., at 22nd St., South Slope). He’ll be guest bartending starting at 8pm, pouring pints of the Smuttnose IPA and the Robust Porter for just five damn dollars.
